People pay extra for this used look . Mine got this way from use and the cabinets are tired .We are keeping the footprint .The carcasses are remaining .Every thing else will be replaced , painted or repainted
All the doors and drawer fronts were upgraded years ago before the installation from maple to MDF .Unfortunately when MDF gets exposed it swells and loses shape. The slides are worn out and a lot of the drawers don't work well .I figured it was better to build new doors and drawers than putting all new in .We like the lay out, so it wouldn't have changed much. The one major change will be from electric to gas with a new cook top . To replace the dying burners on the island would be 1K The laminate is 22 yrs old so I'm putting in new stone counter tops
Thanks,Tom If the doors were wood I would have just stripped, repaired, upgraded hardware, and repainted I really look forward to the gas cooktop.I have hated the electric since day one. Those euro burners never worked correctly.

Okay.
I'm primarily dense, and not necessarily a smart ass. Why is everything to be replaced? Your cabinets looks eerily like mine .

Your wear mileage is outstanding for 22 years.
Excellent move with regards to the gas cook top; you will not regret it.
