I inherited a number of tools from my father in law, who passed away earlier this yr.Among the tools was an old wooden tool chest in desperate repair.I know I should have left it alone but its was heading for the dumpster when I grabbed it.Its not a Gerstner, its a Star . Parts are hard to find and match .I'm putting these up a bit late. I should have posted what it looked like the day I brought it home. Progress to follow .All light piece are new red oak which I salvaged from a couple of 100 yr old tables heading to the land fill as well.
