many out there do not have such wonders of nature. the sound of the peepers is a voice from nature saying no more snow... there was a time when the farmers looked for signs just as these to begin to work the land. Another natural oddity in our area is the fire fly or lightning bugs. Vast areas of the country do not have them, but here in maryland, they are a sign of good tomato growing weather.
I don't see fire fly like I used to .I'll be looking for them come tomato time!
