New life for an old drill

I smoked the motor on this the other day .I didn't want to buck up for a new drill. They vary from about $125 to $350 depending on whether it has a light or not.The old drill is about 10 yrs old .Maybe older.A new motor from the yellow people was almost as much as I paid for the drill when I bought it new.I check E bay and found a guy in Florida selling reconditioned motors for $20.00 .It arrived the other day and I installed it in about a half an hour.I had to switch out the wires. and reverse the polarity .It was opposite of the motor I took out .
Lets see how long the "recon" lasts. There was no core fee so .The old motor in going in the recycling.
